Once you have employees, you have obligations to them and to the authorities: provident fund, state insurance, professional tax in many states, and the registers that go with them. The contributions are due every month, usually by the 15th, and the penalties for delay are charged as interest and damages.
Apbiz handles registration and the monthly cycle, and keeps the records in a form an inspector would accept.

Frequently asked questions
When does PF registration become mandatory?
Generally when an establishment reaches the prescribed number of employees. Smaller employers can register voluntarily, and many do because it helps with hiring.
When are PF and ESI contributions due?
Typically by the 15th of the following month. We track the date and prepare the challan before it.
Does every state levy professional tax?
No. It is a state tax, so whether it applies and at what rate depends on where your employees work. We check the states you operate in.
What if I paid late?
Interest and damages are levied for the period of delay. Pay as early as possible and tell us, and we will compute what is due and help with any notice.
Will you also run my payroll?
Yes. Payroll and these statutory payments belong together, and we offer them as a single service.
